Thebooklet contains a thorough account of the practices under thePublic Law Outline. There are a number of useful templatedocuments. There is an easily accessible resources section,containing inter alia, the 2008 department guide on court orders.There is easy access to the Integrated Children’s System, theframework for working with children in need and their family, whichis part of the government’s Every Child Matters programme.When it comes to ensuring that the timetables in the PLO are kept,there is an easy to use ‘hearing window calculator’.There are readable flowcharts for pre-court proceedings and courtproceedings procedures.
